ICE CORES BUFFER ZONE - EASTGRIP, GREENLAND

Ice cores drilled during the 2022 field season of the East Greenland Ice-Core Project (EastGRIP), extracted from depths of approximately 2,300–2,400 metres and dating back around 65,000 years, rest in aluminium trays inside the buffer ice-core storage facility, awaiting processing at the science trench at the EastGRIP camp in Greenland.
