Large numbers of spotted hyenas had gathered, whooping and cackling to intimidate the lions, who may have stolen the kill from the hyenas, who were intent on taking possession.

يفترس قطيع أولكيغو رونغاي جثة حيوانٍ مفترس على طول مجرى مائي متقطّع، محمية ماساي مارا الوطنية في كينيا. تجمّع عدد كبير من الضباع المرقّطة وباتت تصدر أصواتاً عالية لإخافة الأُسود التي قد تكون سرقت الفريسة من الضباع التي كانت تنوي الاستيلاء عليها أوّلاً.
