يتصاعد الدخان على ارتفاع أكثر من 300 متر ويحجب السماء. يتشكّل نهرٌ مجمّد من النفط في الموقع. تشكّل الألغام التي زرعها تنظيم داعش خطراً كبيراً في هذه المنطقة.
