While nursing her cubs, this mother bear seemed to fall into a meditative state. When I saw this moment unfold, I quickly repositioned myself to the bow of the boat, to be able to compose the most symmetrical image possible. I wanted the composition to reflect this peaceful, meditative moment.

عندما كانت الدبّة الأمّ ترضع دياسمها، بدت وكأنّها تُمعن في التأمّل. وبينما كنتُ أراقب هذه اللحظة، سارعت بالوقوف على مقدّمة السفينة لأستطيع أن ألتقط صورةً بجوانب متوازية، إذ كنت أريد من هذه الصورة أن توثّق هذه اللحظة الهادئة الباعثة على الاسترخاء.
