تشمخ منارة “كابو دي ساو فيسينتي” في الطرف الجنوبي الغربي من البرتغال. وصحيح أنّها لا تعد أقصى نقطة غرباً على شبه الجزيرة الإيبيرية، إلّا أنها تتمركز في أقصى نقطة مطلّة على المحيط الأطلسي من منطقة الغرب بالبرتغال. وخلال الشتاء، تشهدُ هذه المنطقة عواصف عاتية، ممّا يجعل المنارة معلماً لا يستغني عنه البحّارة حتى يومنا هذا.
