The Galkins, Pyotr, 91, and Tatiana, 83, hereditary Saami reindeer herders, lived together for about 70 years. Together they had 4 children, all of whom they raised in the tundra until the Soviets forced them to stay and work in Lovozero, a rural settlement considered a reserve for the Saami people.
