Police officers entered a secured structure at Coyote Camp in Gidimt’en territory near Houston, British Columbia, on November 19, 2021. The Gidimt’en clan had maintained the camp since September 2021, located near the route of the Coastal GasLink pipeline and an associated drill site. Construction activities in the area proceeded under a court injunction granted in 2019, which permits access to designated worksites and public forestry roads.
