Women… Stories in Pictures
Mohammed Muhtasib
Women… Stories in Pictures is a photographic exploration of quiet strength, emotional depth, and the everyday realities of women across cultures. Grounded in lived experience rather than staged symbolism, the exhibition reveals the many roles women inhabit: mothers, grandmothers, workers, caregivers, and anchors within their families.
This is not a study of overt heroism. Instead, it focuses on intimate moments that speak to care, endurance, and connection—a gesture, a glance, a pause. Each image carries a story, reflecting the layered identities and responsibilities women hold at different stages of life.
By presenting individuals rather than archetypes, the exhibition invites reflection on shared human experiences of labour, love, and sacrifice. These realities are deeply personal yet widely understood, crossing borders and cultures.
The work offers space to witness the beauty of ordinary life and the strength that often goes unnoticed. It asks us to look closer, listen more carefully, and recognise not only what women do, but who they are.
