Sewer specialists Alex and Willem are connecting the sewerage outlet from a house to the new main sewer that’s been built to limit flooding in the neighbourhood. Land subsidence means the groundwater can rise to just below the houses. The water has to be pumped away so they can work ‘in the dry’.
