SINJAR, IRAQ. 2024. In 2014, Maysaa was thirteen years old when the terrorist group ISIS attacked the Sinjar province, kidnapping and killing thousands in a few brutal weeks. “What I saw will never leave me, my wounds will never heal”. OCHA provides support to local counseling and mental health partners in the region.
