Deerboine Colony, Manitoba – 2015 Justin Hofer after day two of butchering egg-laying chickens. Deerboine Colony, along with Souris River Colony, butchered approximately 11,000 chickens over two days. The work is hard and the majority of the able-bodied colony members all pitch in.
