The Sanctuary of Our Lady of La Salette in Alpine France

Set amidst majestic Alpine scenery , the Sanctuary ofur Lady of La Salette when two young farm children reportedly had an encounter with the Virgin Mary in 1846. Although perhaps doubted by some, the majority had to accept it and this majestic church was built on the site.
