The Golden Temple

The Golden Temple

The Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) in Amritsar, India, is Sikhism’s most sacred shrine. Built of marble and copper and covered in gold leaf, it is open to all people and faiths. Its four entrances, one from each direction, symbolise that all are welcome, regardless of background or belief.
